Excellent paper demonstrating how a relatively complex IBM can be inverse fitted to ecological monitoring data. This approach holds great potential for predictive ecology. Definitely one of my favourite #RangeShifter applications!

Very important paper about #RedKite population dynamics using #RangeShifter - Approaches, which are useful and necessary to improve future planning of #WindFarmSiteSelection

New paper on spatiotemporal population dynamics of #RedKite in Switzerland. We inversely fitted #RangeShifter to long-term monitoring data. This hugely reduced prediction #uncertainty. doi.org/10.1002/eap.29… 1/n
Learning may play a key role in determining how species respond to environmental change. @abenjob led this work that includes results from an extended #RangeShifter. @UoABioSci onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.11…
This is the first study to make use of #MerMADE, the marine analogue of #RangeShifter. MerMade (developed by @r_allgayer) is an IBM including biophysical pelagic dispersal and stage-structured demography. Looking forward to applying it to other questions! @UoABioSci
Anne Malchow’s PhD chapter out today in #PhilTransB @RSocPublishing „Demography–environment relationships improve mechanistic understanding of range dynamics under climate change“. Anne inversely fit #RangeShifter 1/n royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rs…
Interested in #modelling the effects of landscape change and habitat creation in #RangeShifter? Please consider applying for this 1 yr postdoc in ecological modelling in @StirBES. Closing date 17 May. stir.ac.uk/about/work-at-…
@MailysQueru is back in the team! She will be playing with virtual squirrels and finally starting our modelling work: yay! #macrolands #rangeshifter @imbe_ppm

Introducing #MerMADE, the marine #RangeShifter! The result of amazing work by @r_allgayer. We aim to develop a set of case studies now. Get in touch if you're interested in coupling biophysical, eco-evolutionary modelling in marine systems. @UoABioSci biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
Stimulating week of workshop in Methamis: more on #ecological #modelling, animal movement and #RangeShifter with the @JMJTravis group! @aberdeenuni @imbe_ppm @KarolinaArgote @AurorePonchon @FiPlenderleith @RuedaUCristina @CecilehAlbert
Big congratulations to Anne Malchow for submitting her PhD thesis today. We are grateful for having you in the team & are awed by what you achieved - not the least you brought us #RangeShiftR (neé #RangeShifter) + many fun moments. Enjoy a good rest & travel b4 defence 🍀🍀🍀
Thrilled to have published my first PhD chapter. Using #RangeShifter we estimate #AshDieback impacts on functional and genetic connectivity of woodland invertebrates 🌳🐛🦋🐞 @Ruth_J_Mitchell @JMJTravis @JenniStockan @Lancaster_LT @UoABioSci @HuttonES sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Heading out of Aberdeen after some fantastic few days with @JMJTravis @BocediGreta discussing #RangeShifter future. Thanks for having us! What a beautiful place to be!
Today we are focusing on technical issues of #RangeShifter development. Every bit as important as the conceptual discussions the last two days. Mostly over my head though!! @UoABioSci @ZurellLab #reproduciblescience
Paper planning: ‘How to use #RangeShifter effectively’. @WoodEcology - in your absence we are adding your name to tasks 😂😂 Think we should chat about this!! @watts_km - your name is being added now too!
