As part of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 launched recently by @HHShkMohd and driven by its theme of ‘Family: The Foundation of Our Nation’, we have launched the Dubai Integrated Housing Center, a new initiative aimed at streamlining home-building services for citizens in Dubai. Starting next month, the centre will provide 54 services from four government entities and two private sector partners, all under one roof. This is just the beginning of our efforts to promote stable families and enhance their quality of life. We are committed to launching more projects in the upcoming future that align with this vision.

During my visit to Hatta, we approved a series of projects spanning housing, education, social services, tourism, and entertainment sectors. These initiatives are integral to the comprehensive development plan for the Hatta region, launched by @HHShkMohd. These exemplary projects meticulously consider Hatta's natural beauty and rich heritage, addressing the needs of both residents and visitors. We extend our appreciation to the Supreme Committee for Overseeing the Development of Hatta and the dedicated teams working towards establishing Dubai as the world's leading city in terms of quality of life.

Dubai has once again secured the top spot as the No.1 global destination in the 2024 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards, making it the first city to achieve this recognition for three consecutive years in a row. Dubai's accomplishments in the tourism sector, once thought to be an unattainable dream, is now a tangible reality thanks to the visionary leadership of @HHShkMohd. It was only last year that @HHShkMohd outlined ambitious goals for Dubai's tourism sector within the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, setting sights on positioning Dubai among the top 3 global economic cities and tourist destinations.

We congratulate our leadership, our people, and the Arab world as the UAE joins the development of the Gateway Lunar Space Station, alongside the USA, Japan, Canada, and the European Union. This project stands out as one of the most significant international endeavours in space exploration in the 21st century. As an integral part of this project, the first Emirati and Arab astronaut will journey to the Moon upon the project’s completion in 2030. My team at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating the Emirates Airlock, which is the access point between the Gateway Lunar Space Station's pressurised cabin and the vacuum of space. Through this project, the UAE will play a vital role in bringing humans back to the Moon after a gap of over 50 years. The Gateway will serve as a launchpad for spacewalk missions around the Moon and future missions to Mars, embodying the spirit of Sheikh Zayed’s ambition and the boundless aspirations of our nation that knows the impossible is possible.

Alongside @HHShkMohd, I attended the Arab Strategy Forum 2024, where discussions revolved around the political and economic state of the Arab world. The forum serves as a platform to explore key trends shaping the Arab region, delve into emerging geopolitical shifts, and discuss global economic transformations. Our goal in Dubai has been and will always be the well-being and a brighter future for every Arab country and its citizens.

I'm delighted to have visited the Hatta festival today, and explored various tourist attractions and exceptional youth initiatives for the local residents. Recognizing the substantial economic and tourist potential in these projects, I've directed the festival to be organized annually and developed to meet the highest global standards, aiming to further elevate Dubai's status as a premier tourist destination. From kitesurfing in Jumeirah to hiking in Hatta, our cities, villages, beaches, mountains, and captivating natural landscapes make Dubai a truly spectacular one-of-a-kind destination. Our vision is for Dubai to consistently be the top tourist choice for families and visitors worldwide, as winter always shines brighter in Dubai.

Today, I met with several executives and businessmen of Dubai at Zaabeel majlis, where we discussed paramount economic issues and explored the most notable projects in Dubai. In this Majlis, my grandfather Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum and a cadre of diligent executives from Dubai proposed various ideas and projects. We convened in the same Majlis today to reaffirm that the welfare and future prospects of our citizens stand as the foremost priorities in the agenda of the Government of Dubai. It is our continuous dialogue and regular gatherings that constitute the cornerstone of Dubai’s enduring strength and success.
