Among all the hospitals I have worked in Nigeria, UNIMEDTH (before the system was destroyed by Akeredolu-led government) remains the only hospital where the emergency response was too-notched. Instances: 1. They rushed in a woman with multiple gestation unconscious ( eclampsia)
…immediately alarm flared up and immediately, 4 consultants, 6 residents, 3 HOs, 6 nurses, a pharmacist, a lab technician and an ambulance driver with 4 HAs were already on ground. Decision was made immediately and within 30 minutes, the woman was delivered.
@health_basicTip Which year was this? Cos e sure me wella this must have been before Aketi-tsunami swept that state’s healthcare
@health_basicTip Akeredolu really damaged a lot of things.
@health_basicTip My brother who was a Dr at that time in UniMed told me similar story…. What a fall from grace
