Don't say he didn't warn you. @jordanbpeterson in conversation with @joerogan. I regret ever going along with and supporting lockdowns and other restrictions. It seemed necessary at the time but the price we're going to pay for it was NOT worth it.

The thing I resent most about modern web dev is the continual infantilization of users: not only has the power user been eliminated, the *adult* user has been eliminated. Users are perpetual children pawing at vague, immaterial interfaces on Fisher-Price devices.

Second, they became numb to the value of money. A $10,000 watch was “1 buy-in at a $50/$100 table”. A $1000 steak or a $2000 pair of shoes was mere rounding error. They were living lives disassociated from reality unless you started with the belief that money was infinite.
