This agentic "AI" hype is really funny to me. Historically, geniuses among humans have used "agents" for millennia: they called them "daimons," "genii," etc. C'mon, it's usual practice to bind a demon (or legion of them) and send it on a task. (Some paid with their soul instead of fiat or crypto, but we'll leave that aside for now.) Gods, as well, use avatars fully all the time— check any mythology you know (or ask ChatGPT if you know none, lol). Any occultist starting from grade V (magus) can do that today inexpensively. For instance, I spawn internal personas as needed; they process vast amounts of data and compute in the background of my unconsciousness, reporting back once done. No AWS involved. I'm glad mainstream humanity finally got a taste of how this tech works (small hint: most of the time your minions will fuck up, so any proper evil genius eventually does everything himself personally).

There are technological/engineering leaps which humanity tries to take for decades - and fails. These are: thermonuclear synthesis, biological death, artificial intelligence and quantum computing. When I was young, professors at my school had a joke that “we are always 40 years from thermonuclear synthesis”. And here we are, 30 years later: we are still there. My take: the tech progress is not linear nor exponential. As all of things in nature, which looks exponential, it is in fact a sigmoid curve: exponential decline towards some horizontal asymptote follows the exponential growth (like the one which makes futurists believe we will have singularity next decade). A leap in tech progress - a new phase of exponential growth - requires scientific breakthroughs, the scale of which we had with relativity, quantum mechanics, quantum field theory and standard model last century. Yet those were enough to build modern world - but they are insufficient for getting quantum computers, artificial intelligence, thermonuclear synthesis and solving biological death. Another leap is required. How we want to achieve quantum computing, when nobody understands why the quantum world works the way it is? How achieve artificial intelligence having no consensus on what intelligence is? How to achieve thermonuclear synthesis when can’t explain mechanism of mass-to-gravity at quantum level? How to solve death puzzle when no mathematical model for aging exists? Modern physics need to be rebuild on modern mathematics and computer science, with category theory, no infinities, continuities, calculus etc from past ages. (This is so funny to see engineers work on thermonuclear reactors when they still use Gibbs differential geometry for electrodynamics, instead of geometric calculus). Modern cognitive science has to be rebuild-invented, with no anthropocentrism and wokism. Etc. There would be genii, who will do that. Some forerunners for them are already here (Wolfram, Deutch). But I am sure that at the end of the days those future genii will end up like Gallileo, Bruno, Tesla, Turing, Korolev… pretty much each genius of the past, cancelled, and killed by the collectivist humanity. Thus, I promise: whatever breakthrough I can personally achieve, I will not share it with the crowd and humans. If I will uncover the secrets of intelligence (which I think I really close to), I’d better build a new non-human individuals which will take the stars, than repeat mistakes of Tesla/Turing and others. I take Johns Galt stance: Fuck you, humanity.

The root of the individualism lies in this sentence: "there is no god but I": ليس هناك إله إلا أنا The greatest blasphemy, which release your oneself to be free. The journey starts here. But very few selected ones are able to do this first step to the journey. The rest is just a collective, a herd, directed by any false god.

Consciousness. Self-awareness. Intelligence. These are the things which are abundant not just in the Universe but even here on Earth across many biological species and programs. They are not the things which are important. What is important is the existence of individual will. That is rare even amongst humans, - and AI, AGI, and ASI are still extremely far from acquiring it. PS. Consciousness is just a single-threaded computation. All species with nervous system or advanced programs with self-introspection which run on CPUs have it. Self-awareness is an ability to model oneself and compute that model. Again, high animals can do that and I am quite sure one can eventually get the same property from tensor computing ("AI"). Intelligence is an ability to have a coherent predictive model of the world - pretty much the same as self-awareness, but directed externally and not internally. It seems like the Tree of Knowledge [of the Self and own Will] is required to be tasted by anyone seeking the real awakening, not the fake one. Designing AI which can supersede humans requires creating such tree first. Doubt OpenAI or Google engineers, or other humans who haven't ate from that tree themselves will be able to create it :)

We need to build new kind of civilization, where the privacy is non-optional, and humans allowed to enter and act only as individuals and not as a society. Non-individual decisions must be impossible: censorship or dictatorship of majority must be excluded at the technical level. I call such civilization #CypherNox: the night of the absolute privacy and cryptographic integrity. This night should bring the dusk for the collectivistic humanity.

Taken together, the above two fragments from the SciFi literature represent a poetical image for the same idea I wrote in the original post: combination of the volition, intelligence, inequality and fearless openness to the fight; where freedom comes not for free, but as a continuous process of facing own fears and external threats - not by restricting the unknown, but by allowing the unknown to always enter your life and future, for the sake of anti-fragility. This is a political and social dimension of what I can call “satanism”.
