hey biggins 👋 @heybiggins

A related idea would also be allowing grok bot to recommend things to build for me based on purchase / subscription data (e.g. Link). Example: Grok bot sees I spend $/month on a fitness app. It could recommend building a more personalized version (or pull a template from the community) to replace my current setup and save me the $/month.

@ericzakariasson @bot Expanding templates from just bots to also include apps, databases, UI preferences. Example: I built a running tracker pulling the best elements from whoop, garmin, bevel. Templatizing this for myself and others would be great.

This is what I do to serve personal apps tbat grok bot builds to my laptop and phone from a Mac mini. All local host. But I think it'd be helpful UX for less technical folks if grok bot could run these apps via local post in a dedicated computer on your end. Then natively supported tailscale-like functionality. Building / serving personal apps just for myself or my family is so powerful. But still requires too much tech acumen / additional setup.

@IAmJohnAles World hunger actually has largely already been solved. Norman Borlaug is one of the central figures from the 1940-60s, though strangely few know of him. If you're interested in the problem today, I recommend reading about this history (: grokipedia.com/page/Green_Rev…

@elonmusk @mattvanswol SpaceX could set up a charitable arm where people could donate funds to have Starlink installed for impoverished / disaster-affected communities. I know SpaceX already does this, but it would be great if other people could also donate to this cause!

Hi Senator -- I'm going to assume you're making this in good faith. With that assumption, I think you have your facts wrong here, so I want to provide some context that might be helpful! You open by saying that Tesla's shareholders voted to make Elon a trillionaire. That's not quite true. Actually the shareholders voted for a compensation package that pays $0 unless Tesla hits really hard milestones. The top-most one would result in Elon becoming a trillionaire. However, this would mean current shareholders see a 7x on the value of their stock. So he would bring a lot of people (Texans included) along for that ride. He also would need to hold the stock for (I believe) at least 5 years. So it very much doesn't make him a trillionaire today and only if he 7x everyone else's wealth. Final point here, he has stated that he doesn't need the money. It's for control of Tesla to prevent activist investors from kicking him out if he builds millions of Optimus robots. I won't spend much time on the other points, but you then immediately related this to the BBB and Trump. This pay package has nothing to do with that. It feels like you're trying to conflate 'trillionaire', which could be inflammatory to some citizens with 'trump', which presumably is also inflammatory. Again, assuming good intentions, this doesn't make sense to me and feels like a poor comparison. Last thing -- you mentioned that Elon did this on the "backs of the American taxpayer". That is an extraordinary claim, and thus needs extraordinary evidence. You don't provide any in this video, and I fear that there isn't any to back this up. It is true that Tesla took a $465 million loan from the U.S. Department of Energy under the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing program in January 2010, but it was fully repaid in May 2013, nine years early. Tesla even got penalties for paying it back early. They haven't taken any other loans since then. If you are referring to the $7,500 tax credit that was just recently phased out, I do want to note that this applied to the whole auto industry and this helped consumers (including Texans) pay less for their cars. Separately, the gas industry still gets high subsidies, more than Tesla. So if you do care about making money on the "backs of the American taxpayer" I would recommend looking at the oil companies in your own state. Anyways, I hope you or someone on your staff is able to read this and decided to dig deeper into the commentary I've provided. Hopefully that will help you make better arguments to the Texas people for your agenda.

Just finished reading...this is insanity. The only explanation that makes any sense to me is that NASA<>Lockheed don't actually care about any worthwhile space mission or delivering a product. They only care about a make-work program that is wasting engineers' lives and gov't (read our) money. Thank you for writing this. Wild to me that leaders at @LockheedMartin or @NASA do not care enough to change.

hey @Apple and @AnkerOfficial! I just put together a friction log for buying a magsafe power bank from Apple's website. One easy fix -- Apple isn't consistent with battery dimensions. Different power banks had their thickness listed as either 'length' or 'width'.

@sircalebhammer in case this hasn't crossed your radar. This could be a cool way to expand the impact of Financial Audit / dollarwise. Maybe xAI would be interested in partnering? Or a member of your team could take the temp role? job-boards.greenhouse.io/xai/jobs/49331…

Just completed at friction log of @brilliantorg's homepage and sign-up flow. Hopefully there's some useful improvements the team can implement! Most interesting find -- during sign-up Brilliant asks for your age and the input counter let's you count down to a negative age!

Hey @monarch_money! I've been a user for the last year, and overall really enjoy the product for expense tracking. I decided to put together a friction log of my monthly workflow. I identified 11 issues that could be improved. See below. Happy to chat live to give more color (:
