@CloudlessStudio Wait, I'm confused, they liked the game, but wanted a refund because the game was... short? That's like ordering a meal, eating it, enjoying it, but then asking for your money back because you're still hungry.
@heynn2021 @CloudlessStudio Could come down to a lack of value for the spend, £2.49 for 24 minutes of game is pretty steep. Not saying I agree with it, but I could understand if someone wanted to get that money back for a longer game.
@heynn2021 @CloudlessStudio I know a game thats WAY longer and has more vaule then his game for 3 bucks, its called Total Miner. Its a minecraft clone, but a really good one. So when we got other games for the same price to compare to...it looks bad when your game can be clear in half an hour.
@heynn2021 @CloudlessStudio You hit the nail right on the head with this one. The best description of the weird refund rules we have
@heynn2021 @CloudlessStudio The wanted a refund because they could get one. If the refund policy allowed for refunds up to 40h of playtime they would have refunded a 30h game anyway.
@heynn2021 @CloudlessStudio Honestly? I get it. I probably wouldn't do it because I'm kind of a Steam hoarder. But if you can get your money back and have a fun experience for free, I think a lot of people would do that. Most consumers don't understand the hassle of game creation.
@heynn2021 @CloudlessStudio The game is short. So they enjoy it and adter completing it they refund it to get back teir money, making the game "free"
@heynn2021 @CloudlessStudio No? He just beat the game within the time to refund it and since he thought that he wasn't going to play it again, he refunded it. At least that's how I take it, cause I do the same thing.
@heynn2021 @CloudlessStudio If they played less than two hours, steam allows it. I don't think they specifically refunded because it was short, but because they just wanted their money.
