I’m followed mostly by bitcoiners. Hearing claims that 87% of bitcoiners “hold other crypto”. Do you hold other crypto?
@hodlonaut Is it crazy to say that even a hardcore Bitcoiner that knows that Bitcoin is the only crypto asset and that there is no second best can hold a smaller amount of an alt/alts?
@hodlonaut Excellent question. For fun but the real answer is probably that many alts have short term outperformed Bitcoin and many want a piece of that action.
@ShadowTraderCT My reply would be that maybe they are not fully Orange pilled maxis if they for any reason choose to hold a worthless asset instead of exchanging it for some sats
@ShadowTraderCT Just to be clear, I don’t have an issue with people holding whatever they want to hold 😊 And I think you can have very strong faith in bitcoin and still for some weird reason hold some alts
@hodlonaut Ok! Like I said, even if you know BTC is the only viable one. And I would never recommend anyone buying anything but Bitcoin.
@hodlonaut @ShadowTraderCT Bro, thisssss. I always hated the idea that if I wanted to become wealthy on non-ceo wages, I had to InVeSt. The idea that "all persons who wish to have savings need to become investors as a second job," infuriates me. This is why I don't (any longer) shitcoin on the side.
@hodlonaut @ShadowTraderCT I got some ledger somewhere with garbage on it but I'm not holding that anymore than I'm holding Vitaliks kabanoss
@hodlonaut @ShadowTraderCT This is where I’m currently at. I know everything else is a shitcoin but I’m playing the casino anyway. I have more money I need to make, which I’ll eventually funnel back into bitcoin. But what doesn’t this make me morally/ethically? This is what I often think about
