Is it worth giving up your favorite treat, cookies, pie, ice cream, for the possibility of living a little longer? What do you think?
What is one bad thing we do that we can give up? I'm thinking about trying to give up sugar. I have to think about it though. :-)
Pick someone and do something extra special for them. Do something that is inconvenient for you or costs you something. Expect nothing back.
Important conference call today with many VPs. A little nervous, but I turned the energy into enthusiasm. Boss said I did a great job! :-)
This week will be better than last week. The potential is exciting. What kind of person do you want to be this week? I choose diligent.
Make clear to yourself what you value and focus on that. Do not deviate. If an action goes against your values, don't do it.
Thanks for all the great feedback on the ebook! They're not 'tricks' though, it's all about human nature. That's why it's so powerful.
Today go out of your way to talk to a few more people than usual. Can be a simple hello or a conversation about the weather. Try it.
This may sound crazy, but by focusing on the positive more I am actually feeling healthier. All in my mind? So what :-)
Habits. It's all about habits. Make being your best a habit. Sloppy can become a habit. Don't let it be yours. People see the difference.
It is time to start pursuing excellence in all I do. Precision, accuracy, efficiency. It all starts with an attitude.
Actually, despite a headache I'm in a very good mood. I wonder if that is from practicing having a positive attitude more often. :-)
Wow, for some reason have a really bad headache. It's easy to be nice when you feel good; this will be a good test. lol.
Being extra positive is working out very well. I'll keep the experiment going. You should try it too.
I'm taking extra time today to talk with more people. Don't forget, people are important.
Today tell someone that they did a good job on something. Be sincere.
Be extra nice to your family/friends when you go home this evening.
