@therealmaf_ She was “the grout” I like to call it. Holding everything together but you don’t see it and take it for granted… 😃

@ABC I’m still Lake Ontario. My name has NOTHING to do with the Canadian providence…..it has everything to do with the Iroquois nation and meaning Beautiful Water. Thank you 🌊🌊🌊

@yvrshootstweets Will probably get cancelled - just like XFiles - changes the tone of the show. Plus the stories are pretty iffy anyway.

@NiallHarbison This is Mason. Rescued him from our local shelter after he came in as a stray. He was with us for 12 years. He had lumps and diabetes at the end but had a great life. Lost him two years ago. Still miss him.

Imagine tall grass on this street & weathered storefronts. That’s how THE LAST OF US plans to turn Nanaimo BC into an abandoned city this month. #TheLastofUs hollywoodnorthbuzz.com/2024/05/nanaim…

@CarolPe64837759 @MeanStreets2022 @h0mebythesea They have other issues too like the pilots who knew how to fly them have retired or have passed away. I agree that they’d have put out the fires quickly but have finally accepted that the planes are just too old to keep going.

@h0mebythesea Takes too long to get them going again. There was one last hurrah in 2015 because of the fires that year. Weren’t used in 2014.

@h0mebythesea It’s definitely politics - apparently the forest service won’t even use the other planes owned by the company that owns the Martin Mars… just what I’ve heard but crazy as they are local

@MeanStreets2022 @h0mebythesea My parents live across the lake from them. The one already painted navy blue was supposed to go to the Smithsonian a few years ago. Hopefully one stays in Canada. They had more years of service here.

@CorbinTuck @h0mebythesea Apparently they cost $25000 an hour to run so they stopped using them but now it’s thimble-fulls of water from a helicopters and planes from Abbotsford dropping retardant… 🤔
