this week we're working on bringing your history with you.
if you've been logging in another app or a spreadsheet, you bring the file in and your charts just carry on.
what's your setup right now: an app, a spreadsheet, or notes on your phone?
@NutritionMadeS3 right, that's the bit that gets lost. the natural one is gone in minutes, the medicines are built to hang around for a week, which is why the schedule is weekly at all.
@MANSAFAB The two extremes are loud and the boring middle is where most people actually are. Influencer quick fix on one side, nobody talking at all on the other. We read a lot of reviews from people on these and the common ask is just plain, calm info.
@JCanNuSH@vedichi_ One in five keeping off 10% after a year, and that's the group that managed to lose it in the first place. The denominator doesn't get talked about enough.
@Benzinga we read about 2,500 reviews of the trackers people already use, and a lot of the asks were about food and protein, not the shot itself. this survey fits that.
@Josh_fitcheck13 curious about the "feel full" part. is it that protein-heavy meals hold you longer, or that the same food as before just doesn't land anymore? those feel like two different things to track
@peptidedaily_ stairs are usually the first thing people mention when they talk about their knees, so "walking and stairs start to hurt" is the right yardstick. curious if the 7 studies measured that or just pain scores
what we heard this week, from about 280 public posts in GLP-1 communities:
the most talked-about things were wins people were proud of, food noise, and side effects.
the topics nobody seems to have a good guide for yet: exercise and muscle, mood and body image, and life after stopping. we're working out which of these a tracker can actually help with.
@coachgretch2025 worth asking people how long they've been on it too. a pro or con from week two and one from month eight can sound like different medicines. and the prescriber is the one to settle the medical side.
@gregogallagher appetite back to how it used to be within a couple weeks of running out, and the calories slipping at night in particular. that's a rough thing to watch happen in real time. what did the scale do in those 2 weeks?
@itchdoctor that matches what we see building things at this size, rigid structures lag behind how fast people actually change what they do. no answer here either, but curious which part you keep coming back to.
@pepgrading funny, one thing we noticed building a tracker is that a full dull history says more than any single before/after. a boring chart with the stalls left in is the opposite of viral
something we learned reading GLP-1 labels from three countries: the same medicine isn't sold the same way everywhere.
in Australia, dulaglutide (Trulicity®) comes in one pen strength, so its dose ladder there has one step.
so the app follows the label for your country, not just the US one.
