Guess I'm on the wrong plan because my cost certainly hasn't been cut by 50 per cent in the last five years. I can't be alone on this one....

@ian_mendes Log in and check your options. You’ll be surprised what’s available, even without a contract. I dropped my bill 25% while tripling my data a couple months ago, and when I mentioned it on here, a bunch of followers noticed they could the same. Pretty much any provider too
@ian_mendes My parents and I switched to Fizz.
@ian_mendes As someone who works in the cellular industry I can't stress enough the need for customers to self check their plans, bills and needs. This is a market where the carriers are completely reactive to everything. Om carrier makes a change, the rest change to match. You call in......
@ian_mendes I'm w Bell corporate plan and I've had a great decrease in price on my smartphone plan 📱 includes 25G of Data unlimited local and Canada wide calling and texting 3 way calling voicemail etc. Under $50/month and that is reasonable!
@ian_mendes You HAVE to go to your provider and ASK if there isca cheaper plan. I recently switched my wife's and my plans on our cells to a 30% cheaper plan with more data, on koodo. Koodo did not let me know about the new plans. The cell comps, treat us like 🐑 to be fleeced!
@ian_mendes You need to call your provider and change your plan. They won’t make cuts to a rate that you’re on. A lot of good plans currently range from $50-$60, with high data and unlimited calling/messaging & downloads/uploads. Obvious it goes up if you finance a phone with the plan
@ian_mendes What plan is he talking about? I'm with you Ian....if anything, costs have risen.
@ian_mendes 29$ 60gb. Forever. You are on the wrong plan.
@ian_mendes In 2019 I was paying $70 for 10gb. I’m now paying $40 for 25gb (CAN/US). Your plan won’t change unless you actively find a new plan or call to have them lower it, though. On average, Canadian mobile plans are objectively lower than they were even a year ago, according to StatsCan
