I really enjoyed the first episode of #DeadBoyDetectives but I’m also reminded that #LockwoodAndCo had a similar premise. I know there’s differences, I’m just wary of investing too much in case this is cancelled too! Screw the algorithm Netflix you cowards.

@ianmac67_SE Lockwood And Co was too scary and lacked any humour which would suit younger fans who loved shows like Wednesday But and not scary enough to appeal to the older demographic. I remember the week it dropped the reviews were predicting it getting cancelled. Shame I enjoyed it.
@DarrenMJones200 I wonder what older demographic they thought needed it to be scarier? 🤷🏻♂️ Unless their research thought we all like horror? And we don’t! The older audience is just as diverse as younger audiences, and I thought it was great. #LockwoodAndCo
@DarrenMJones200 It’s like #ShadowAndBone sometimes we like great stories with a variety of characters. I don’t know why Netflix doesn’t get that? Their success surely has been built on that very premise. But instead they seem to be intent on creating irritation and annoyance amongst fans.
@ianmac67_SE Who knows what went on with Shadow And Bone. Why no seasons 3. I suspect Netflix spat their collective dummy out over this one. Lots of rumours abound about the writers strike and cast members getting to involved. Who knows but another own goal for Netflix
