The only thing about S2 that truly surprised me is how little they did with the Sidlotte story. S couldn’t even have left C a letter or something? But there’s a note from him encouraging Tom to take risks, and they use his cards to gamble on the town’s debt? Wtaf? 😑

I have not seen S2, in my country it is not broadcast, I am talking about what I read here and I asked myself, if they were not able to change the face of a character, why did they change Charlotte's heart?

@charlie14416652 @rose_williams_ I don't think tweeting for Sidlotte is negative. We are used to it. Been doing it since 2019... You are right though. Its not perfect. This new #Sanditon is so far from what we wanted and they need to be reminded of how they killed Sidlotte, Sidney and ruined Charlotte.

Omg Sanditon has turned into the lamest show. So clichéd & predictable 😂. Hotties & twists & turns were promised. None 2 b found. Guessed almost everything! What a lame season & cliffhanger! But Sidlotte would have been predictable? Ok there! 😂 #Sanditon #SanditonPBS

@FinestSeaside @anchovy00 This season is almost forgetting that Georgiana exists. It's a good thing S3 was ready agreed on, because I have to admit, it's not living up to the hype. Maybe the back half will be better?

@nedwards338 I thought the same thing when I saw that article! But since S1 & S2 seem 2b working @ cross-purposes, it's a tough show 2 recommend. I obvi❤️S1, but I doubt I'd ever recommend it 2 anyone again after all that's transpired--unless I told them 2 stop @ the kiss & be done w/ it.😭😭

@vocalopal @LeftatTheCliffs @endless_run Though obviously not ideal, given the Hobson's choice of a non-Theo SP or no SP at all, I would've def favored a recast over new love interests. In a perfect world, we'd still have TJ, but 4 the sake of the central storyline, I'd want SP 2.0 rather than a wholly revamped story.

@nedwards338 @SidneyHourlyBot It was a big gamble by killing off even the possibility of Sidlotte--I'd love 2 believe SP isn't truly dead, but RPP keeps reiterating the fact, so I'm guessing that's out. Just a thought: If u have 2 keep justifying ur plot choices, methinks u r doing it wrong.🤨#SidlotteForever

@tipsmom3 @LQureishi Yes #JASanditon season 1 was just spectacular u had #SidlotteForever exploring the business world the Parker family dynamic I wanted more of their history as well as the Heywoods Alison is now some fickle man hunting blonde I hate AD version of the story is now lost.
