This is Antoine Semenyo hitting the second fastest speed of the season against Liverpool - 35.74 km/h. What’s really interesting about the clip is that Virgil Van Dijk - the chasing defender - hits 34.94 km/h on the same recovery sprint. And wins the challenge. He’s 35 years old.

The money he won from the contest was used to attend football coaching courses in England. In 2007, he joined 9th tier English team Kingsbury London Tigers and led the club to some of the best results in their history. It was his first ever managerial job. Following that, he coached several teams, mainly in the Baltic region. Now, Valdas Dambrauskas has taken Sabah to the UEFA Champions League league phase for the first time in history. Now, he has won Sabah FK's first ever league phase match. It's truly remarkable. 🇱🇹👏

Andoni Iraola to Thiago: “Remember this photo with Darwin [Núñez]? I remember that clip. I’ve seen a lot of you explaining something to Darwin before he comes on [the pitch].” Thiago: “I think we touched on that kind of conversation before. It’s about the message you give to the player in a moment when Klopp and I are both not calm, because the coach is like that in that moment. But you have more words, and for a player at that time, it’s ‘Leave me to play, I just want to get in.’ “I just try to optimise the conversation and say, ‘Okay, these words will help him.’” Andoni Iraola: “This speaks very well of you [Thiago] because you are trying when you are on the bench. You are not playing, but you are trying to help the team.” 🇪🇸

🏟️ The famous Kop at Anfield was named after Spion Kop, a hill in South Africa where many soldiers from Liverpool lost their lives during the Second Boer War.

Thiago Alcantara and his partner talking about Liverpool is incredible ❤️ #ynwa

🤍 ABSOLUTE PURE SERENITY. 🕋 Thousands of birds gracefully circling above Masjid al-Haram in Makkah. A breathtaking sight that leaves you in awe and fills your heart with peace. ✨ SubhanAllah, what a beautiful sight! 🤍

Iraola: “Liverpool is not just the men’s first team. It’s everyone who wears this badge, and when Liverpool play, I want to be here. I could’ve spent today somewhere else, but being at Anfield with my family, watching the women play Everton, feels exactly where I should be.”

Jose Enrique has gotten his 2014 Premier League trophy😭😭😭

PSV posting Cody Gakpo content. Love to see it 🔥

🚨🚨🎙️| Darwin Nunez: “I would be lying to you if I told you I don’t miss Liverpool supporters, they made me and my family feel good especially when I was going through a rough time, I obviously miss Liverpool, I miss them a lot.” 🥹❤️

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Liverpool’s new defensive signings have been impenetrable this season. • Jeremy Jacquet and Ronald Araujo have kept three consecutive clean sheets since Andoni Iraola started playing them together. • Jacquet has won 76.3% of his duels in the Premier League this season (29/38), matching the highest duel success rate Virgil van Dijk recorded in 2019. • Meanwhile, Liverpool are yet to concede a Premier League goal in a game Araujo has started. Against Bournemouth, the Uruguayan won the most duels on the pitch (9). • The two centre-backs offer complementary profiles. Araujo provides the physicality and duel-winning ability, while Jacquet offers greater progression in possession and the ability to carry the ball forward from wider areas. Liverpool have every reason to be excited about the foundation they are building at the back.

Hugo Ekitike dropped a pic of his EA FC 27 team, and he’s already got himself in the midfield with 22-year-old Adam Wharton 😮‍💨🤝🏽 Could have any midfielder itw but I hear it with Wharton. Doesn’t get more technical than that. Tryna hit to the Liverpool scouts that they need Wharton? 👀
