@BasedMikeLee Yes. Every time congress agrees to set aside a pool of taxpayer money, you fuck the economy and never setup any real oversight for the programs. Y'all added a cool ~$9 trillion to the debt with all the mortgage fraud when Clinton decided everyone should own a home.

@accuweather Exact same situation over there in Hurricane as Pagosa Springs. No dams/containment ponds upstream. Homes and businesses built all along the wash. No berms on either side. City zoned it all habitable never giving the water anywhere to go. Of course it's going to flood.

@accuweather -Upstream did the build containment pods or dams to mitigate flooding? Nope. -Did they build berms on either side of the river? Nope. -Did the city zone residential and commericial right up to the rivers edge? Yep. Oh no! Why did all these homes and businesses flood? 🙄😑

@realDonaldTrump -Ritch is 82 and should be retiring. -Crapo decided to give his fellow boomers another free $50k if they just happened to get (any kind) of downwinders cancer. -Little will be ~76 when he's up for reelection in 2030. If you turn 75 during your term you shouldn't be able to run.

@Barchart Buffett's legacy repeated by every public corp. Greed and complete lack of generosity or goodwill that sustains the middle class...which is rapidly disappearing.

@ESPNNBA Why does a 6'3" fella have 10 rebounds? Cavs had excellent defense in the first half. Then it fell apart in the second.

@jackprandelli "weak wind". Weak minds build intermittents. The grid can't run on fantasy power. And power buyers are sick of covering generating gaps with hopes and dreams.

@rez_devil If you're going to put a tiny pipe in, you have to put containment ponds above the wash or it's going to fail every time. Buy the bigger pipe since no one is budgeting for or building containment ponds.

@charliebilello Anyone with money left Türkiye a long time ago. Erdoğan's Islamic cartel dictatorship has destroyed the countries credibility. It should be kicked out of NATO.

@ryanhallyall Look upstream on Gmaps and you'll see how the city of Hurricane and Washington county built exactly zero containment ponds or dams to mitigate flooding. Also see how no berms were built near the wash, and how homes were built right up to the wash. It was 100% preventable.

@CarolynneNoff @YachtLifeRadio @annvandersteel You word that as if the US shouldn't be putting military in harms way. What the hell are they supposed to be doing? Trump started a war the west can't win without weakening the IRGC which they've barely touched in ~8 months.

@justin_hart You know why it looks like that...Because the county and city budgeted exactly $0 dollars for flood mitigation upstream. There was once a dam built some time in the past, but nothing has been done since then to prevent flooding or overtoping the wash downstream.

@GovCox Not a single abatement/containment pond or dam was built on that wash. Hurricane zoned and built right up to the edges of the wash and not a single berm was built to mitigate flooding. City/county leaders should be held criminally liable for the lack of any flood mitagation.
