Drop in enforcement will have a long and damaging legacy: vast majority of polluters comply with regulations w/o enforcement action. Stop enforcing the law and voluntary compliance falls. New admin. will have to spend $$ and take unpopular reg. action just to get back to baseline

Once Trump got what he wanted from his constituents, he dropped all pretenses of pretending to care, of pretending to value black lives in his twisted form of white saviorism. Instead he has decided to continue to make the problem worse and endanger more black children.

Lead poisoning is being used as a weapon, a way to justify black criminality as being something inherent to a person's race. It fuels the idea that the black body is polluted, immoral, and cannot be saved.
The black body has historically been determined as morally polluted and inherently immoral. This has had an impact in the juvenile justice system and the incarceration of black children, especially teenagers.
