48 years ago today, on the 30th of March 1976, thousands of Palestinian citizens of Israel went out to protest against a massive land expropriation carried out as part of the "Judaization of The Galilee". The focal point of the protests was in three villages in the al-Batuf area: Sakhnin, Arraba and Deir Hanna. Six protesters were killed that day by the Israeli security forces. The protests spread across the land, including the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. This day became known as "Land Day". In the photo: the Land Day march in 1983, on the way from Sakhnin to Deir Hanna

@ireallyhateyou Thank you for this history. People smear this nation with a holiday commemorating united non-violent protest as having “never tried anything but violence.”
@ireallyhateyou I wonder what the status of IsraHell, the whole occupied Palestine, and all Palestinians within would be if Palestinians had always submitted , never protesting... just saying 🤔... thank God Palestinians haven't been silent!!!
@ireallyhateyou Can you write a post explaining more about the "judaization of the galilee" because it's the first time i hear about it.
