Say @Adobe why do you think it's okay to use the names of living and still working artists in your stock, selling images leeching off these artists? I guess I'll be cancelling my sub. I'm done with your BS #createdontscrape #artistagainstai
@iriscompietart @Adobe Having built their empire on the back of artists, they are now actively trying to destroy them. Contemptible.
What we need is a bunch of super-aggressive lawyers and solicitors to do an investigation. Create a compensation scheme like the PPI scandal. Then we can sue and be recompensed for present and future losses and copyright theft. Sue the software developers and search engines that scraped the internet to train their models. Mentioning the artist in the descriptive text us enough evidence that Adobe are selling it as if it's the original artists work. The English language is very powerful and written words and screengrabs are enough to sue.
@iriscompietart @Adobe You should put your time and art into something like @affinitybyserif … I was feed up with Adobe years ago for being greedy. I haven’t looked back and Affinity really is worth having a look at 😁
@iriscompietart @Adobe Granted it’s the humans uploading the stuff that are describing it, Adobe REALLY needs to put controls in place if they want to keep pitching their in-house AI as “copyright safe.”
@iriscompietart @TheGlazeProject @Adobe It's been a while since I abandoned Photoshop for Clip Studio Paint.
@iriscompietart @Adobe It's a business that caters to the lowest common denominator, the unskilled 'artist' who doesn't want to work at the craft, just take a lot of shortcuts.
@iriscompietart @Adobe Abandon PS, all of you!! I've been using Clip Studio Paint and it's AWESOME!
