A few projects I’ve been keeping an eye on lately 👀 Not saying every one of these is going to be a winner, but they each have something that caught my attention, whether that’s the product, the narrative, the community, or what they’re trying to build beyond the initial mint. I wanted to put them all in one place, break down what makes each one worth watching, and include the current WL/collab routes for anyone looking to get involved. Also i might be a little late on some. ⛏️ @HoodMiners_rh HoodMiners is taking the idea of an NFT and turning it into a wallet that actually has a function. The collection is 5,000 free mint Miners, with every Miner coming with its own wallet. Each Miner also has one of nine rarity grades, with rarity affecting its earning weight. The interesting part is that the rarity isn't revealed immediately. So you get the usual mint/reveal/trading excitement, but there's also an underlying utility component to the NFT. That gives people an actual reason to care about which Miner they end up with, rather than simply minting another PFP and moving on. 🎟️ WL / COLLAB HoodMiners has been running a WL campaign with 1,031 GTD spots tied to Nucleus reputation and contribution leaderboards. The reputation side takes things like onchain activity and holdings into account, while the contribution leaderboard rewards people actively contributing to the ecosystem. 🎀 @YuzoDotXYZ Yuzo is leaning heavily into the intersection of NFTs, RWA and onchain finance. The upcoming Wall Street Waifus / Yuna collection is 3,333 NFTs with a free mint, built around token-bound wallets. The bigger appeal for me is what sits behind the artwork. Holders can interact with the $WAIFUS ecosystem, with the project also working toward tokenized stock mechanics. So instead of the NFT being the entire product, it looks more like the NFT is the entry point into a wider financial ecosystem. That gives Yuzo a much bigger narrative to work with if the team can execute on the RWA side. Partnerships are being handled by @redacted7777 and might be close already since mint is on the 15 🎨 @TheMotifArt MotifArt is a 2,048-piece fully onchain collection created by @magicburp. The art draws from Turkish kilims, çini tiles and traditional patterns, while keeping the execution minimal through grids, limited palettes and animation. Everything being fully onchain also gives it appeal beyond the usual shortterm PFP cycle, especially for collectors who care about generative and permanent digital art. 🎟️ WL / MINT ACCESS Holders of Autoglyphs, Terraforms, Checks, QQL, Nouns, Fidenza and Ringers are eligible to mint on October 20. A snapshot was also recently taken for Goblynz holders. You can also apply for WL directly through themotif.art 🏦 @standard_rsv by @0xbeans Standard Reserve is probably the most unconventional project on this list. The idea is to use ETH flows and liquidity as signals for how the system operates, essentially connecting capital movement with issuance and monetary defence mechanisms. The NFT is really just the gateway into that experiment. The plan is for 1,000 soulbound Genesis NFTs, with holders becoming “Bankers” and receiving a portion of daily STANDARD emissions. Mint is happening tomorrow. It may be late to get in at this point, but a small portion of the supply has reportedly been left for the public phase. 🏹 @HoojaFun by Vora Labs Personally, Hooja has something most NFT projects spend months trying to create , a character people can actually remember. The hooded outlaw, hand-drawn aesthetic and Robinhood Chain identity give Hooja an instantly recognizable personality. At its core, Hooja is a meme token and a 4,444-piece NFT collection, with only about 2,800 NFTs available to mint. The token and the NFTs are bound together through the Anvil AMM, so instead of being two separate assets, they operate as one connected economy. $HOOJA is the fuel. The Hooja NFT is the identity. They sit on the same market. 🎟️ WL / COLLAB Collabs are being handled by @BigFloppaEth . Another route to WL is holding collections that have partnered with Hooja and joining their Spaces / AMA sessions, where additional WL spots are being given away. 💵 @Thereservoirnft The Reservoir is taking a different approach with its Vessels. Rather than being static NFTs that simply sit in your wallet, Vessels are positioned as scarce digital assets that represent a position within the ecosystem and can evolve over time. $RSV is intended to sit at the centre of that ecosystem. The part that catches my attention is the idea of an NFT having a changing role over time. If the mechanics deliver on that promise, holders have an actual reason to stay involved after mint rather than treating the NFT as a finished product. 🎟️ WL / COLLAB Whitelist and collaboration applications are being handled through thereservoir.xyz ⛩️ @0xHazels by @Rosaaa Hazels is trying to turn the thing every crypto project desperately wants, "attention" into an actual product. The collection is 5,555 Hazels, built around Eight Rise, an Attention Layer and a Free Mint Launchpad. The bigger question is whether Hazels can turn its creator ecosystem into a distribution network. The team has said that 5,000+ creators have already been onboarded to Hazels Studio, which gives them a potentially strong base of creators and audiences to build on. If the Attention Layer and Studio can actually help creators distribute and monetize attention, Hazels could end up being much bigger than just another NFT mint. 🎟️ WL / COLLAB There is currently a GTD WL campaign running through studio.hazels.io/gtd while for collaborations studio.hazels.io/collab 🥷 @Kageuri_com by @SatoshiHuessoto Kageuri is building a 4,444-piece collection around a post-apocalyptic world of shadow traders, scout pets and guilds. One of the biggest mechanics is the secondary royalty model is that activated NFTs are set to share in 90% of the secondary sale royalty revenue. Another is called “Clock In”, meaning holders can activate their NFT without having to move it from their wallet, while pets can increase a holder’s weight in The Pit. That gives Kageuri a pretty clear focus on rewarding people who actually participate in the ecosystem rather than simply minting and disappearing. The collection is 4,444 NFTs, with a 0.0033 ETH mint on Robinhood Chain. 🎟️ WL / MINT The mint is being rolled out in phases, with early access tied to @RobinWifHat Outlaws holders, followed by GTD and FCFS phases. They've also been running community WL campaigns, so following @Kageuri_com and keeping an eye on their Spaces and partner communities is probably the easiest way to catch additional spots. Collabs are handled by @ModeXeth What makes me bullish is because each one is attacking a different part of the market. For me, the biggest thing to watch from here is execution. The narratives might get people in, but execution is what keeps them there. Once the mint is over, what matters is whether these teams can turn the narratives into products, utility and communities people actually want to stick around for. Always DYOR.........
