Reminding myself that detachment doesn’t mean that I don’t care or have love for that person. It just means that I’m freeing myself from the power that connection once had over me, and the power that I *thought* I had over that connection. It means I’m allowing myself to have peace and move forward without anxiety about how it’ll all play out in the end. Instead I’m connecting with this inner knowing that I’m good either way… maybe even better without it. And when you’re no longer trying to control the whole situation, you have more energy to pour into other things and people that pour back into you. Let things be. Let things go. Shift your focus and give your energy to things / people that bring you more peace.
Increasing your tolerance for discomfort is how you master yourself. The difficult conversations. The uncomfortable silence. The adversity. This is where you grow the most.
The best way to end something is to starve it. No reaction, just don’t feed it. That’s where the true power lies. Where attention goes, energy flows. And when energetic patterns are broken, new worlds emerge. Don't return negative energy. Remove yourself. Create a new algorithm.
You can't grow with people who don't love how growth looks on you. If you don't feel it, flee from it. Growth thrives in places where it's celebrated, not tolerated. Find those who applaud the changes that come with personal evolution. You deserve to be supported, and cherished.

You should always think HIGHLY of yourself to the point you know some things don’t deserve your energy. At this age you should be mature enough to know the importance of self value.
As you get older.. you should wanna carry yourself differently. Your mindset should be different. Your morals should be different. Your choices should be different. It’s certain things you can entertain & certain things you have no business entertaining anymore +
You gotta force yourself to get up early. You gotta take care of your responsibilities. You gotta be honest with yourself. You gotta evaluate your priorities and handle business! Nobody's going to do it for you, these are YOUR goals. YOUR dreams. It all starts and ends with YOU!
