@RhysSullivan The implementation quality point resonates. MCP gets blamed for friction that is really client UX, auth defaults, and discoverability. A good inspector plus clear tool schemas could make the moment feel much less magical.

@Rin_Cale @trq212 It is still a cost, especially when a tool returns more schema than signal. I’d make query and field selection first-class inputs, then keep a CLI escape hatch for deterministic runs.

@trq212 The stateless point feels like the big shift. If models can defer tool choice, the server can own composition while the client stays focused on intent. I still want CLIs for local, scriptable workflows.

@uiuxshasankodas The workflow handoff is the key detail here. If the agent can show why it made a change and let the user edit the next step without leaving the flow, this feels much more usable than a generic voice layer.
