So the US threw Ukraine under the bus and crippled their defense capabilities (costing them Kursk) to get them to agree on a ceasefire - only for Russia to then decline outright. You couldn't make this up. What an embarrassment America has become!

the trump tariff strategy is they over-escalate and then de-escalate while retaining the ground gained that they wanted, in theory. It is an obvious, stupid, bad faith strategy that lowers trust and everybody's willingness to engage every time they do it
