Want to know the ugly unfair truth about why some guys get rich and others do not? It's not hard work. Here it is: Almost every 8-9 figure guy I know at SOME point had a gun to their head where they HAD to be successful. When I got out of the military, I had $6k and no education. In short I HAD to make something work. It wasn't passion that made me work 12-14 hour days to learn how to build an online business. It wasn't confidence either. I considered myself an idiot. It was fear. I had about $500 left when I finally started making money. This fear was the greatest gift God ever gave me. During this time I witnessed that I "could" do it. THIS is what gave me the confidence to keep going and build what later turned into a sizable net worth. Most people never get this. They have the option to stay comfortable, they never have to fight, thus they never learn to fight. Getting comfortable is what also kills most guys ONCE they make it. If you are waking up and going to bed in fear, say a little prayer. Pain, fear, anger. They are the most unfair advantage a guy can have. Most are never lucky enough to truly get in bad enough straits that they HAVE to make something happen. If you do, don't pout. Embrace the dark side, you will come out made of steel and red lightsabers.

One pattern I find useful for working with LLMs is a nice long ramble session. Sometimes the LLM needs more bits to understand what you're trying to achieve, but you're too lazy to type them. In these cases I like to lean back, switch to /voice and just ramble for like 10 minutes, total mess, anything goes, full stream of consciousness. Sometimes I declare it up top, something like "switching to speech recognition sorry for any typos...". Sometimes I turn it into a small interview of a few turns. But I find that the LLMs are somehow very good at reconstructing long incoherent rambles and often their echo of your own tangle of thoughts comes out quite a bit cleaner than what you started with. The result is that you improve the mind meld and have to correct things less from that point on.

It feels like people are living at different spots in the timeline. Im interviewing a bunch of people for open roles at ridge. - 50% of people STILL havent used ai for more than a google search replacement. - 20% Some people are running their lives in it, but haven't downloaded a harness- browser only - A small group are fully loaded. Ai agents for everything. automating everything. And then you read the comments on instagram, and 20% of people want to burn down data centers like it's Frankenstein The future is here. Just depends on where you are on the timeline. I think within 2 years, using a browser on desktop will be optional and clunky. The harness is the new window to the world. Desktop computers with local software got replaced by the internet and the cloud. Now, webapps will just be database layers for agents. Why would I log into notion and click buttons? Agents will just do it. Why would I sort through my email and look for important stuff? Agents will do it. Why would I make a google doc and share it? Agents will do it. This might be a big DUH to everyone reading this. But Im telling you- to 95% of people this sounds like gibberish. They are at a different spot on the timeline. The level of change management coming to orgs will be as big as the internet was. The future is here; it's just not evenly distributed.

Me : *Wakes up feeling amazing* My sleep app : This metric was way off. You might actually die today. Maybe you have aids. Give up, today's ruined. F*ck you loser.

The computer is being reinvented in the agentic era: - The model is the new CPU. - The harness is the new OS. - Hallucinations are the new bugs. - The context window is the new RAM. - Skills are the new apps. - Markdown files are the new config. - Evals are the new QA. - Context is the new moat. - Permissions are the new firewall - Trust is the new bottleneck. - Prompt is the new programming language - Agent is the new software. Anything you dream of, you can build. This is the greatest time ever to be building with computers.

What happens when you die: They divide up your shit. They summarize your life in 500-1000 words. People who knew you less say sorry to people who knew you more. Everyone eats, drives home, and wakes up the next day and goes to work. Whatever you’re worried about won’t be in those 500 words. You can dare greatly or not at all, but you’re gonna die either way. Might as well squeeze every motherfucking drop out.

LISTEN: Jacob Rockwell was fined for running a red light in Pensacola, Florida. Only thing is Jacob wasn’t in Florida, he was in Alabama. He sounded off at a local city meeting recently and his concerns go beyond just one citation.

Europe's situation explained in a video. You only need a few seconds to get it.

The future of farming is dark, and that's the entire mechanism. Sunlight is the only thing keeping this fungus alive. Powdery mildew and gray mold carry a repair enzyme called photolyase. When UV-C damages their DNA, photolyase stitches it back together, but the enzyme only fires when blue light is around to power it. Hit the fungus at noon and it repairs most of the damage by afternoon, using the sun to undo your work. Run the same UV-C after sunset and there's no blue light to switch the repair on. The DNA breaks stay broken. The pathogen can't recover. That one fact collapses the dose you need. In University of Florida field trials, the lowest nighttime UV-C dose suppressed mildew better than the highest dose applied at noon. The effective range landed around 65 to 170 J/m² once or twice a week, matching or beating a full calendar fungicide program. And the dose stays low enough that the crop never notices, with no measurable loss to chlorophyll or photosynthesis. The strawberry shrugs it off while the fungus on its surface takes a hit it has no way to fix. The same trick knocks down spider mites and thrips, which run their own light-activated DNA repair and lose access to it in the dark. Darkness is the active ingredient.

autonomous robot driving through the field at night. no chemicals. no pesticides. just UV light killing pathogens and pests while everyone sleeps. this is @tricrobotics. this is what chemical-free pest control looks like at scale.

Underrated life advice: Have more hobbies and fewer opinions. Learn an instrument. Plant a garden. Build something with your hands. Cook. Paint. Run. The happiest people I know spend less time debating life and more time actually living it.

I can't believe how fun building a company is right now is. The weird part is it doesn't feel like work anymore. New AI models/tools/repos keep coming out making the impossible possible. My ONLY anxiety is making sure I don't waste this precious moment and keeping up with the updates of all the new tools/AI models. AI is creating the greatest platform shift of all time. And, I've learned to never let a good platform shift go to waste. I was living in Silicon Valley around for the mobile era. I remember the feeling of "you can just build an app and put it in the store and people find it." That lasted maybe 4 years before the gold rush ended and distribution got hard. I'm getting that same feeling right now but bigger. The difference is I'm older, I know what a window looks like, and I know they close. I love building right now. Maybe you do too. Trying not to take it for granted. I'm excited for Monday. Can't wait. My partners and I are up at midnight most nights now sending each other screenshots saying "look what this can do." Nobody asks anyone to do this. We just can't stop. Something drops, someone builds something with it in 2 hours, and the group chat goes off. It feels like we're getting away with something. Some of the greatest companies of the next decade will be started in 2026. I'm sure of it. And it'll be fun. I feel like a kid again. Genuinely giddy.

American is a driver for the nonprofit Meals on Wheels that gets funding from government It gets over $700 million in funding per year The driver shows the food he’s about to deliver to a needy senior citizen. It’s so disgusting looking he just gets him Popeyes chicken instead so he doesn’t have to eat it Now don’t get me wrong, I am 100% for programs like this that help seniors get the food that they need However, look at the food…. I was able to find that many of the frozen and prepackaged meals are commonly ultra-processed and often include industrial additives, thickeners and preservatives There needs to be better standards

Think about what you want right now in life to be truly happy. Then think if someone came and yoinked away everything you have now. You might realize you already have everything you ever needed to be happy already. All you have to do to win life is just accept it and chill.
