When people show you they’re not your safe space, believe them.
They know why you’re upset. They know why you won’t speak to them.
At a certain age, things are not misunderstandings or mistakes anymore.
Being family doesn’t mean others have unlimited access to your time and energy. They don’t automatically get a hall pass when disrespecting you. Healthy relationships are built on mutual respect, not obligation or guilt.
I hate being suspicious about things but ghooorl that gut feeling (if not always) is usually right.
I’m beyond grateful for the people who at some point make my uncertain times a little less heavy.
I feel so blessed knowing that there are people praying for me. I want to cry 🥹
