“We need a website” needs context: what should customers do, what works today, and what matters most? Collect the answers; let a person review the brief. Illustrated example with fictional details and prepared replies.
Choosing your first channel? Ask whether customers are already searching, need a demonstration or need reassurance. Then test one audience, one offer and one clear next action.
One typo should not erase the rest of an enquiry. Keep the answers, name the field that needs attention and explain the fix. Test one deliberate error on your mobile form.
What does someone still have to guess on your page? Our website exercise, prompted by Paul Graham’s early Airbnb account: find one doubt, show a specific answer, then test it with a real visitor. Source: paulgraham.com/ds.html
