@artanvir76 @Hacker0x01 What about the money in your account? It just gone?
@shawkat7h @0Xmannaf It's not quite that bad,bro. Most of the reports have already been paid for; only some of them have remained unpaid for over a month.
@shawkat7h @0Xmannaf I haven't done an exact count, but it's probably a little over 20.
@shawkat7h @0Xmannaf On average, it takes 10days to 30days from submitting my report to Dell to completing the triage. And getting paid has even taken over 2 months in some cases. I really envy you, bro.
@cyodyssey Since AI is so powerful now, there must be a huge number of people earning a lot of money on bug bounty platforms, right?
Some of the private invites on Bugcrowd are total bullshit. The test lasts two weeks, but triage takes about two months. The vendor fixes the vulnerabilities during those two months and doesn't pay anything because they can't be reproduced. @Bugcrowd #bugbounty
@UnTalNixon_exe I don't understand. Doesn't everyone need to follow their own report step by step and reproduce their work before submitting it?
When the triager is unable to reproduce a report, they won't ask for more information. Instead, they close it as N/A and say something like 'If you still believe it,create a new submission'. Is that really right? It hurts the accuracy. @Bugcrowd @BugcrowdSupport #bugbounty
@Bugcrowd I also use other platforms, and communication on Bugcrowd is the worst.
@Bugcrowd That makes sense, but the problem is that there is no communication channel right now. If I get an N/A or anything else I don't agree with, I have no way to challenge it. There is no response to the comment or the RaRs. It's just gone, even if the report is OK.
@vortexau I'm not complaining about triagers. I think this is a problem with the entire Bugcrowd platform. No part of their triage process is good.
@vortexau Some triagers know little about technology, even about some basic principles. That shows how unprofessional Bugcrowd's triagers are. Sometimes you have to treat them like children and explain some details to them. That's horrible.
@_iamviolin I face the same situation. The triager didn't even try to reproduce the issue in my report—an account takeover that requires no user interaction—and just marked it as NA. They didn't reply to my comment or communicate at all. Just a cold NA.
I joined a private program a few months ago and submitted several P1 and P2 reports. About 2 months later, all of them came back as unreproducible. And it is totally unreproducible now. What a great reason. Zero cost. #bugbounty #bugbounty
@0xTib3rius Yes, but most programs won't accept this. It's always NA
@Zaddyzaddy Everyone makes mistakes, but Bugcrowd should optimize the workflow to avoid the harm caused by triagers, rather than leave it as it is now: the worst report workflow, like shit. And they don't improve it.
