People chase the feeling of social superiority so much that they end up too fatigued to do anything with it. Thankfully, I’ve never had such a problem. Planning ahead seems so out of fashion to so many people these days.

Someone clearly attempting to win my favor for the benefit of a lower interest rate on their still unpaid debt brought me wine, but clearly didn’t listen when I explained my preferences to them yesterday while I was making small talk. What a waste of mora, to buy a useless gift.

Some days, the feeling of a piercing wind or warm blanket is the most interesting thing you encounter. How dreadfully dull.

I can’t understand why I’m not more popular with the Snezhnayan public. How are some of the other Harbingers so beloved? Not that I mind that much, it just baffles me.

I used to find the scent of metal rather revolting. As I progress in my career, however, I have found that perhaps the smell of coins is the best of all.

Someone left me a fur coat with an anonymous note attached… I’d compliment how thoughtful it is, were it not summer in Snezhnaya. I suppose it can sit in my closet for six months. Or be used for a visit to those freezing labs.

It’s been quite some time since the last rain, hasn’t it? I quite miss the peace of my office with no sound but the rhythm of raindrops on my windows.

Whenever people call me ugly I simply assume that they’re too mentally inferior to come up with a decent insult given the best insults are *accurate*.

Even the arrogant must eventually turn and cough. Pride is a dangerous road, treacherous and slowly growing ever-steeper. It’s easy to slip and fall into the abyss below if one gets too high for reality to weigh them down. Food for thought.

I apologize for my extended absence. I had to deal with some less-than-competent subordinates abroad… truly, it’s as if no great minds remain in our broad world. Except for a select few, of course.
