And of course this is the president's fault and not the GLOBAL pandemic that caused GLOBAL inflation.🙄 We have strongest economy in decades, the strongest in the world, and the lowest inflation rate in the industrialized world. When people tweet things like this it tells me they have no idea how anything works.
@jackikotkiewicz @CitizenFreePres My apartment rent in Texas 4 yrs ago was $950. Now $1240. Landlord told me “market forces”. Yeah, right.
@jackikotkiewicz Republicans had a chance to stop corporate price gouging with an anti-gouging bill. But they refused. Why aren’t you upset with them?
@jackikotkiewicz And yet, the @GOP refuses to help Americans with limiting any price gouging. Check the profits of the oil and gas industry. Check grocery stores profits. Check them all.
@jackikotkiewicz If Trump were president we’d all be speaking Russian and picking potatoes from fields now owned by Vlad.
@jackikotkiewicz Corporate greed is the cause. Prove to me it’s not.
@jackikotkiewicz A new report from the Federal Trade Commission suggests grocery giants used inflation and supply chain disruptions during the pandemic to drive their profits and keep raising prices. Republicans receive kickbacks to vote NO to stop price gouging.
@jackikotkiewicz @judymorris3 and this summer and hurricane season along with tornado season, it's about to get a rude awakening.
@jackikotkiewicz @myStankFace This one desperately needs to be Community Note’d. I know it’s more fashionable in some political circles to blame the president than the companies who overcharged you and then posted record profits, but that doesn’t make it right or accurate.
