There are 2 types of work Work that you enjoy and work that you don't. You don't have to work to make ends meet. If you enjoy it, life is enjoyable. You spend most of your life working, may as well find work you enjoy and lean into it. You will go further than you expect.

Enjoying coding is important if you want to become a software engineer. If you're forcing it all the time, you may not actually want to do it.

I'm still glad I dropped out of my computer science degree. The debt is too painful and can easily stick with you for life. But I didn't stop developing by any means, and ended up with a great job as a full stack engineer after all, with little debt. Self learning > uni
This is the best tweet I've read in a while. Prove you can do hard things and have the mindset of 'I can figure it out' as opposed to 'that's too hard' and you'll be fine. Programmers are great at this, especially if they do it for fun and it's their hobby, passion, and job.
