If you rarely gather with your local church or only gather due to cultural events, then you are the one pushing a "soft" and "weak" Christianity.
A lot of demands this week on what a pastor must do. Some seem to come from those who admit to not even gathering with a church regularly. Pastors, be sensitive to the Spirit's leading and the flock's needs, but preach the Word. Seek to help, but don't try to please and appease.
