We reviewed trauma hemorrhage RCTs & sample size determination. 13 trauma RCTs were included, 11 studies had negative results. Current methodology is limited by imprecise risk estimates, overly optimistic treatment effect size & lack of justification journals.lww.com/jtrauma/Fullte…

EEG caps with automated software for interpretation is the future! Great way to monitor comatose patients in the ICU. Of course, raw interpretation both by expert and non-expert EEG readers will be important too. #NCSTJC
