It’s important to remember that when given the opportunities they deserve, girls can become leaders, innovators, and agents of change. Over the weekend, in Sokoto, my team and I paid condolence visits to some bereaved families to identify with them in the moment of their grief. At Gagi area, we visited the family of the late District Head of Kwargaba, Alhaji Umar Shehu Dangaladiman Kwargaba, who passed recently. We proceeded to the Sabon Birni area to pay our respect to the family of Sarkin Gobir Adiyya, who are mourning the passing of Alhaji Hussaini Sarkin Gobir Adiyya. Next, we visited the Kan-wuri area to offer our condolences to the family of the Chief Imam of Sultan Muhammadu Bello Jumu'at Mosque for the loss of Hajiya Fatima 'Yar Gada. We continued to the Marina area, where we extended our sympathy to Former Minister of Power, Honorable Bello Sulaiman, and Former Minister of Transportation, Honorable Yusuf Sulaiman, for the loss of their brother, Alhaji Mu'azu Sulaiman. Lastly, we visited the Gidan Dare area to offer our condolences to the family of the late Islamic Scholar and Professor of Physics, Sani Aliyu Sagir. In each visit, we acknowledged the significant contributions made by the deceased to our dear state and country during their lifetime, prayed to Allah SWT to grant their souls eternal rest, and encouraged the families to bear the irreparable losses.

Add boiled eggs to your rice (if it’s rice and stew Sunday). Eggs are nutritious. Very nutritious. 3. If you can add green vegetables to your diet today, do it; it is highly recommended, and it’s good for your immune system. 4. Take a glass of fresh fruit juice, it will make you feel refreshed. 5. Eat balanced diet;Good food: Good mood. 6. Limit Junks foods 7. Exercise; a 100 skips will do 8. If it’s rice and stew Sunday, add sliced cucumber to your rice. It’s good for your kidneys. 9. January 2024 Thanksgiving Service Bible Text: 2 Chronicles 1:6-12 Whatever you ask God today, you will get. The Almighty God has repositioned us. We are now on the mountain top. Long before the end of this year, you will know you are on the mountain top. The wind is already blowing and in the Name that is above every other name, the wind will blow in your favour. The major problem of victory, promotion, repositioning, is "What next?" What do I do with the victory? Some people will start this year as nothing but before the end of the year, they will be somebody. I have good news for somebody listening to me today, nobody knows you right now, before the end of this year, they will be coming to you for help. Anybody who tries to prevent you from reaching your goal, God will remove them. Three things we learnt from the text; 1) He decided to praise God massively. I want you to praise God like you've never done before. I want you to thank God like you've never done before. 2) Solomon said, "All I'm asking for is what I will need to serve You." When money comes, what are you going to use it for? To serve Him. This year, wealth will change hands. The blessings that God will give you this year will be permanent. 3) You must stay connected to the One that has repositioned you. Every river that disconnects from its source will dry up. Every branch that detaches from the tree will dry up. Solomon failed to stay connected to God- his source, and he didn’t end well. Remain connected and you will continue to see the hand of the Lord upon your life. Prayer point: Father I promise you, I will serve you, I won’t disconnect from you.
