I think it’s totally reasonable to understand how the Chiefs and Sneed got to this point and why the Chiefs made the trade while also being disappointed with an underwhelming return for a tremendous football player. (I think it’s reasonable because it’s how I feel.)
@jbbrisco Oof! A third?!?!?! A turd?!?!?! What happens when a player goes all tyreek
@jbbrisco Yup. I understand the fact they needed to trade him as they cannot pay everyone. But it sucks that his value did not equate to a better return for the Chiefs
@jbbrisco It sounds like the concern are for his medical. The deal is not done unless he passes that so we'll wait and see I didn't realize there was concern about his health
@jbbrisco I think the guy deserves a lot of money, I also think the guy should understand what’s going on with the team. That said… It is what it is. #burrowhasnone
@jbbrisco Just think about how nice it will be to 3 peat and then have 4 top 100 picks in the 2025 draft. I think we all need to see how the cap space is used before deciding how it'll impact 2024. Can add a vet RB, WR, DE and LT with $20M in 2024 cap space.
@jbbrisco It's reasonable to believe the Chiefs did everything they could to maximize a return on a 27 yr old CB with a checkered injury history. Him also seeking top of position money hampers who comes to the table. Chiefs likely had no leverage.
@jbbrisco A tremendous player yes but with a bad knee with one elite year of production and at a position that ages poorly.
