And now you’re pretending residency and citizenship are synonymous, when they obviously are not.
Cue the meme about discourse being impossible with someone intent on pretending to not understand things.
Texas state law requires that 90% of the total freshman class come from Texas residents. UT must automatically admit the top 5-6% of every graduating high school class. About 4% of undergraduate students are international.
May regret this, but Christians have got to learn to think in categories, and there are 2 things that are both bad and often get conflated with one another...
1) Racism, defined in actual Biblical terms (racial pride or racial malice) and not defined in the progressive literally-everything-is-a-racism sense, is a sin and is wrong.
// Philippians 2:3, etc forbids conceit (for any reason)
// Titus 3:3, etc forbid "malice" (for any reason)
2) Governing leaders allowing mass migration to happen in a way that is bad for the citizens they were elected to prioritize and bad for the nation they were entrusted to protect (especially when it dilutes Christian influence on the country in a way that could tipping-point-doom-spiral that nation away from societal truth and goodness via creation of voting blocs)... is not good.
// In one of the least-P.C. verses in the Old Testament, Deuteronomy 28:43-44 describes mass migration leading to the ever-decreasing influence of the people of God in a nation as judgment on that nation:
“The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower. They will lend to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, but you will be the tail.”
While there is obviously continuity/discontinuity between the Old and New Covenants, this does show a shape of God's judgment and there's no way to read that as anything other than negative.
APPLICATION:
If you look at many responses to this pic, some people are doing #1 and when confronted about it, acting like they're just doing #2. If you're calling people "jeets", don't pretend you're having a strictly policy discussion with no malice involved.
Christless "conservatism" would death-spiral into the abyss, just like the already-Christless progressivism has. The center cannot hold.
And often, people are doing #2 and being accused of doing #1.
There's a difference between a religion and a race, and there's nothing wrong (actually, in many cases there's a *lot* wise) with not wanting certain belief systems imported into your country en masse.
And (downstream of the Biblical differentiation in the roles of the individual, family, church, and state) there's not anything wrong with the citizens of a country opposing the leaders of a country allowing mass migration to happen in a way that hurts their culture, school systems, effects scholarship and job opportunity availability to citizens, etc.
Christians CAN have debates about immigration policy and it not be "racist" at all... and all Christians are commanded to love and pray for the redemption of all people from every tribe, tongue, nation, and language, nailing every type of "malice" in their hearts to the Cross.
All of the “Republicans” in Texas that tried to silence @bofrench yesterday, were also involved in trying to impeach @KenPaxtonTX.
They work in lockstep like liberals and celebrate any chance to sell out or control the Conservative Party.
Don’t give them the satisfaction of successfully dividing us in favor of the Democrat candidates.
All foreign cultures are inferior to American culture. All of them. Every single one. Everyone knows this. It’s why they all try to come here and no one here wants to move to Guatemala or India.
Foreigners in America today are demonstrably less likely to assimilate than those who immigrated here 20, 50, or 100 years ago. Instead of leaving their languages and customs and pagan religions behind, they are coming here, building enclaves for their diasporas, and voting as ethnic blocs. This is the opposite of assimilation.
Because their cultures are objectively inferior, their refusal to assimilate therefore degrades American culture. Because American culture is objectively superior, this degradation makes America worse off. And when America is worse off, Americans are worse off.
Making America worse by importing inferior foreign culture is bad. Making Americans pay for the privilege of watching their country decline is bad. Replacing Americans in their own country is bad, because we are a people and this is our home and reducing our heritage and birthright to a mere global economic zone is bad.
Working to eradicate Americans and American culture is bad. Opposing the takeover of your own country and the degradation of the very culture that made your country the greatest country in the history is not only not racist, not xenophobic, not-whatever-dumb-gay-term-is-now-being-used-to-morally-extort-you-into-giving-away-your-country—it is the only natural response to what is being done to America.
Foreign culture is inferior to American culture, and we are all sick and tired of constantly being subjected to it while being told it’s not happening.
Receipts purport to show outgoing Senator and failed Republican nominee John Cornyn taking large sums of money from H-1B body shops, businesses used to facilitate immigration fraud.
Cornyn has been a staunch supporter of Indian migration to Texas.

America does not need more visas for people from India. Perhaps no form of legal immigration has so displaced American workers as those from India. Enough already. We’re full. Let’s finally put our own people first.
Don’t forget that any trade deal with India will require us to give them more visas. I’d rather not pay them in visas and trade deficits. Let Modi see what terms he can get from Xi instead.
Can we talk about the fact that Democrats just sprinted into court to stop President Trump from enforcing a 144-year-old law that says you don’t get to live here if you’re going to live off American taxpayers?
They’re literally suing to keep the welfare tap open for people who aren’t citizens.
They don’t even bother hiding it anymore.
Their job isn’t representing the citizens of the United States. It’s protecting the people draining the system.
🚨BREAKING: The Trump Administration has invoked the long-unenforced Immigration Act of 1882 to prohibit entry into the United States of “any convict, lunatic, idiot, or any person unable to take care of himself or herself without becoming a public charge.”

@Djkeene1 Thanks for speaking up. The ruling class has lost touch w/the populace & how people are feeling about these policies.
It’s why Trump struck such a nerve in 2016 by discussing “building the Wall” & border security.
Many now realize that other immigration policies are problematic.
@benshapiro@benshapiro You’re missing the point. America is not just an economic zone. We are a country founded on Judeo-Christian values & worldview, and that is for whom this union was founded.
Texas has had such an influx of immigration that there is very little assimilation happening.
I've been trying really hard not to comment too much on politics lately, but this has got me riled up because I live in one of those towns experiencing massive cultural shift due to unfettered influx of South Asian and Middle-Eastern immigration.
When you import any large group of foreign people, no matter who or where, and implant them into another place all at once, it discourages assimilation because human nature is to rally around commonality. So, you get a bunch of people from the same place who come together and start creating something like an outpost for the place they came from. The more you import, the more this cultural shift happens and the less likely assimilation becomes, and the more the natives begin losing their own cultural normality.
Calling the natives "racist" for noticing the cultural shift, and how it impacts everything from the job market to the education of their children, is dismissive and insulting. It's not "racist" to become angry and despondent as their home becomes unrecognizable, and the voices they hear more and more sound nothing like their own. It's not racist to watch as these foreign immigrants who were imported en masse come in and take jobs and colleges accept these immigrants instead of their own children, and become outraged about it.
The vast majority of the people pointing out this problem with immigrants from India and Middle Eastern countries aren't racist at all, but they're being subjected to a cultural shift they were never prepared for and had no say in, and they're supposed to smile and applaud?
I'm sad to say I'm ashamed to see a lot of Republican politicians I would otherwise support use this alarm to virtue signal with accusations of racism against their own constituents and fellow native Texans. They're not racist. They feel cheated, and have every right to feel that way.
Coming to the United States is not a right, it's a privilege.
That one privilege, comes with a litany of duties and expectations.
You can't just quadruple our talent pool with people from third world countries who are happy to take anything they can get once they get installed into positions of authority and hire other third-worlders, and say that it's going to be a healthy environment competitively.
So what exactly do you want us to celebrate?
This is racist. It is wrong. And I condemn it without reservation.
There is absolutely nothing Christian or conservative about looking at a crowd of young Texans at a college football game, seeing the color of their skin, and declaring that they are a “problem.” These are
I'm delighted the Democrats are fighting for lunatic crap like this.
Most Americans have NO idea that we have been giving permanent resident status to deadbeat foreign nationals who are in this country COLLECTING WELFARE from taxpaying American citizens.
Every Dem candidate should be asked, repeatedly, "WTF is the point of giving permanent resident status to parasitic charity cases from foreign countries? How TF does that benefit American taxpaying citizens?"
Keep asking them that at every opportunity. Make them take a stand on the issue. Make them defend it.
A lot of people don't understand how thoroughly batshit crazy mainstream Democrat policies really are.
