No what they are saying is that maybe F1 shouldn’t of been so actively going after Lewis to shut him down. That stealing a championship from him to gift to who they thought was their great white hope was maybe not the best idea. The initial burst of excitement seems great for a minimal amount of new fans but the real fans of F1 know whats gone on and don’t like it and now this is getting reflected in prices and all metrics starting to go backwards.. People want real competition not favouritism…

But this is off the original point You’re against changing the regs that impact one driver but desperately want them to change the regs to impact max who is operating at sensational levels in a team who got their concept right despite TD trying to impact that. Meanwhile in this same period of time McLaren went from last to probably the quickest car at times. Changing regs to impact max would simply hand artificial success to someone else. The RB19 is completely legal, the RB18 was so good we can shut up shop mid season to keep that advantage locked in. And on a slight tangent RB put so much into 21 they started developing their car for 2022 pretty late. They got their concept right maybe Mercedes should stop finger pointing and get to work on fixing their issues and increasing their efficiency in other areas.
@jctrxx @TheTechnician44 All you say is what they did to get RB to be where they are now. They changed the regulations to help one team with a cost cap breach, lenient penalty and then after three years,McLaren is getting there. Will they be the one in 24?I doubt as RB is already in development advantage
@jctrxx @TheTechnician44 Key points: We want F1 to enforce regs and rules properly. Not gift an in race change of rules to make sure the GWH won. Not look the other way when a sham engine freeze is granted Not look away when one car is developed way over the cost cap, with lies about tax breaks too
@jctrxx @TheTechnician44 As a Mercedes/Ham fan, even I can concede that, had the Imola GP not been cancelled, the title could've been won in Monza or even with a crappy performance (by season standards) in Singapore, rather than Japan.
