Biggest difference I've noticed between CS in Spain and Berkeley: Here, people think 1–2 years ahead about internships, research, startups and recruiting. Same age. Completely different environment. Environment matters more than I thought.
21yo CS + Math student from Spain (UCM), currently at Berkeley. Made this account to document what I learn about: – SWE / AI – quant & trading – studying in the US vs Spain – internships & recruiting – building things along the way No guru stuff. Just sharing the journey.
