Hurricane Helene is now a category 3 hurricane with winds of 120 mph. It is moving rapidly to the NNE at 21 mph. It's unusually fast forward movement will allow it to maintain it's strength well inland. Tropical Storm conditions will begin in north Georgia tonight.

If this occurs early Friday morning we are in for serious damage here in north Georgia. Trees will be down all over the place resulting in long lasting power outages.
