It's a bit funny. But there are a few things that Trump insists. That separately he and Putin, Xi and Kim have a good relationship. Realistically, however, he is just being played with by the three but he seems to not have realized this. Poor Trump.

By always looking for an enemy, imagined or real, Trump is able to keep the unity of his cultic MAGA fanatics. Similarly, Israel's Netanyahu had to project the Palestinians as an enemy to unite the Israelis behind him and thus continue to stay in power.
