Why exactly do people say: Saam Daam Danda Bheda Every source, from Arthasastra, says Saama, Daana, Bheda & THEN Danda. Danda is the final step. After you've dealt fatal punishment, who will you divide with Bheda?

@Astra1881 @jeysundhar_d Sure. You can also make the point that Drona refused to teach Astras to even his own son Ashwatthama, due to his hot headed nature. Drona taught only Arjuna, because he had talent, balanced mind, and followed rules of Dharma. Not because of his "caste" or "status".
