Hi Sam. I use Fidelity and Schwab Think Or Swim. I recently opened a Schwab account and have used TOS for about 2 months now. I like TOS for credit spreads better than Fidelity because it is hard to set a stop-loss on a credit spread at Fidelity. Both can handle calls, puts, cash secure puts, covered calls, etc... I had over $25K in my account at Fidelity so I didn't have to worry about the PDT Rule. However, when I opened a margin account at Schwab I started with $2000 and was subject to the PDT Rule. I've added more money to my Schwab account but still $3000 short of the PDT Rule. I see that I can trade Futures at Schwab using TOS. I just haven't set it up yet and once I do I need to fund it. I hope to do it soon. I don't have any experience with IBKR sorry.
@TradingWarz I don't trade futures but I was thinking about starting. I sold cash secure puts and covered calls about 5 years ago and did well until the market tanked and I was stuck holding a lot of stock for a huge loss.
