Isaiah 1:18: “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. His grace is sufficient to wipe us clean.

One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. . . . The LORD said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger” (Job 1:8-12). The point is that Satan must submit to God.

John: "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins .(1 John 1:8-19). We are sinners, but there is good news. Jesus paid the price for our sins. He offers forgiveness.

Proverbs 18:12-13: "Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor. To answer before listening— that is folly and shame." Humility before honor and listening before speaking. "Lord, help us to walk in humility and to listen to others before speaking.
