The literal resurrection of Jesus is, of course, the subject of so many scriptures that it is settled doctrine for believers of the Bible and Book of Mormon. For us, the universal resurrection is equally certain. I wonder if we fully appreciate the enormous significance of our belief in a literal, universal resurrection. The conviction that death is not the conclusion of our identity changes the whole perspective of our mortal life. It affects how we look on the physical challenges of mortality. It gives us the strength and perspective to endure the mortal challenges faced by each of us and by those we love. It signifies that mortal deficiencies are only temporary! It also gives us the courage to face our own death or that of loved ones—even deaths we might call premature. Our belief in the resurrection also encourages us to fulfill our family responsibilities in mortality. It helps us live together in love in this life in anticipation of joyful reunions and associations in the next. #GreaterLove #GeneralConference Artwork: “Above All” by Kelsy and Jesse Lighweave

I’ve read the Book of Mormon when life felt steady. And I’ve read it when everything was shaking. It holds in both. It testifies of Jesus Christ with a clarity that doesn’t feel manufactured. It corrects me. It steadies me. It calls me higher. I’ve prayed about it. More than once. The answer wasn’t hype. It was quiet. Deep. Settled. And Joseph Smith? A 14-year-old who said he saw God and never denied it, even when it cost him everything. You can call that unlikely. I call it a restoration. The Book of Mormon is true. Joseph Smith was a prophet. Jesus Christ lives. #SaintsOnX

Church isn’t just a place I go to get fed. It’s where I learn how to feed others. Sometimes I show up tired, distracted, or carrying more than I planned. And sometimes I’m the one holding it together. But every week, God puts us in the same room for a reason. The Book of Mormon says we are to mourn with those that mourn and comfort those that stand in need of comfort (Mosiah 18:9). That doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when we gather. When we sing together. When we listen. When we notice each other. Worshiping together shapes us. It softens us. It reminds us that faith was never meant to be a solo sport. I don’t go to church because everyone there has it together. I go because none of us are meant to carry life alone.

One thing I love about what The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches about Jesus Christ is this: His Atonement was not only for sin. It was for pain. For grief. For betrayal. For mental anguish. For the quiet suffering no one else sees. Christ did not just pay a debt. He descended below all things so He could know all things. That means there is no sorrow you carry that He has not already carried first. No weakness He does not understand from the inside. He is not a distant Savior. He is a fully acquainted one. And that changes how I trust Him.

I don't know who shot Charlie Kirk, but everyone in America knows that he wasn't shot with a .30-06 in the neck at 142 yards without an exit wound. It's almost like the FBI forgot that half the country are deer hunters.

The Book of Mormon is true. People try to tear down Joseph’s character and twist history, however, none of that changes that the BOM is true. It testifies of Christ!

This is the EXTREMELY civil discussion that the riot at Tennessee State (HBCU) started with. In this video you watch the mob grow, begin shouting, destroying our stuff, possessing weapons, blocking our way out, and screaming racist epithets. All because of this civil convo.

"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints condemns horrific acts of violence worldwide, including the recent assassination in Utah. We affirm our repeated calls to seek peace and unity despite our differences. Jesus Christ teaches us to love one another, that hate is wrong and that human life is sacred. We urge all to reject violence and instead build understanding. Recognizing that we are all children of God, we must treat one another with more dignity, compassion and respect. As we mourn with those who have experienced loss and care for those living in fear or conflict, we call upon people everywhere to build communities of greater kindness and love." — The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/article/first-…
