I know "vibe" coding has been the new talk in town. But for serious production-grade apps, we'll need not just experienced developers. We need a new class of "Agents Manager" - the terms which I really don't like. It sounds like some sort of "assassination" mastermind. We should instead call it "Augmentation Manager" or "Augman". And what kind of experience are we looking for? That's the right question to ask! Working with AI is quite a different ball game. Here's what I've gathered: - Solid understanding of software development methodologies, patterns and paradigms. As a byproduct, being able to review generated diff/code. - Being able to work as a project manager and tech lead at the same time (that's a lot to ask!) - Self awareness and management. Really, the sense of hyper productivity can really suck one in.

@HashemGhaili Quite a thought-provoking clip now that soon many of us will become digital “creators”. The fact is we nowhere near. My son once asked me, do we give the robots Sundays off? We don’t even give ourselves Sundays off sometimes. Everything accelerates in every direction.

AI is being used most for coding and writing, according to Anthropic. - Augmentation more than automation (the gap isn’t that significant) - Software engineering & editorial work leading the charge. (these groups are more tech savvy?) - Adoption peaks in the mid-to-high salary

- Billions of dollars spent on build outs, research, infra, etc. - Own data centers contribution significant optimizations. - Competitive and highly paid workforce. Lessons: - Things are often not what they seem. - Bigger pictures will soon emerge, so don’t let emotions take over, especially in investment.

May not be any wonder at all, at DeepSeek. It’s a complex story. I suspect market manipulators loved it. Nonetheless, efficiency does pay off. Innovations many times lie in the process and structure of things too, not just technical breakthroughs. tomshardware.com/tech-industry/…

Grok’s Prediction Choice: - If I had to pick one prediction based on the information available, I would lean towards a settlement. The reasons include: - The new SEC leadership might prefer to resolve high-profile cases to focus on new regulatory frameworks rather than prolonging legal battles. - Ripple could benefit from a quick resolution to stabilize its business and market position. - Historical patterns show that even when cases are appealed, settlements are often pursued to avoid further judicial scrutiny or to manage legal costs. This prediction, however, should be taken with caution as legal outcomes can be unpredictable, especially in the evolving landscape of cryptocurrency regulation.

$XRP case: settlement, dismissal or prolong battle? Former Ripple director predicted decision within the week. Former SEC lawyer doesn’t think so. Anyway, don’t lose sleep or nest eggs over it. Make wise decision and don’t let it swing your mood 🤣. Meanwhile, I gave Grok this article and asked it to make a choice if it had to. Grok’s choice 👇

There are always risks involved though: - Privacy: Eventually, I think many people will be giving agents access to their whole computer. - Job Displacement: for certain types of job. - Security Vulnerabilities: again, deeper access into the operating systems?

What are some benefits? - Increased productivity. - Accessibility: complex digital interactions simpler for less tech-savvy people (aging workforce too?). I personally like this one, if that means I can spend significantly less time in front of a screen.

Is our Jarvis/Friday moment approaching soon? Weeks ago, we had an Anthropic’s demo of their AI’s capability to control user browser. Now OpenAI is releasing its own autonomous agent called Operator. What are some benefits? Full article: techcrunch.com/2025/01/23/ope…

Market cap != Capital inflow.

Diversification of risk should also depend on your age. Like below 30, below 40 etc or phases in life. I imagine someone with family and small kids may want to take less risk. Likewise with older people whose run way is limited. Younger ones would still have lots of time to fail and learn, provided that you take investment seriously and learn (not gamble).

@vincent_vancode I’ve started to feel market cap isn’t a good matric too. Thanks for sharing.

@vincent_vancode Totally agreed. Never borrow! Don’t put yourself and especially your family at risk.

70% of the work can be achieved. Don’t try to push beyond that or outcome may start to diminish. Also important to note how it benefits experienced developers more than it does junior ones. Very similar to what I’ve personally observed too.

@MarioNawfal He’s so right: Managers therefore need to spend their time wisely with the right group of people. You can’t just cut “the waste”, cos the PL will apply again.
