After getting called a Nazi and Klan supporter by fellow Jews on Yom Kippur, I've removed the Twitter app from my mobile devices. Still checking in on the web, but this place is unhealthy. The instant urge to hostility is creepy and not good for my health or yours.

Weird discovery: ChatGPT is a pretty helpful editor of serious text. Like, I can paste in a whole chapter and ask questions and get some kind of response. Need to refine my queries a bit, but I can see it being useful.

Watched the Netflix doc on @nimsdai, one of the greatest mountaineers of all time. Just extraordinary. More people should know his name (and also Mingma Gyabu “David” Sherpa, Lakpa Dendi (Zekson Son), Geljen Sherpa and Tensi Kasang). He made the impossible possible.

Wanna thank @AOC for turning me on to Korean sunscreen. Started using Beauty of Joseon and my acne disappeared. Turns out probiotics are the trick! Added some Sungboon Lacto Biotics cream for good measure. Massive change! Never expected *this* would be what I'd thank @AOC for.

Ugh. Realizing I'm trying to hit something like the word count of Wild by @CherylStrayed and instead drifting towards Infinite Jest. Ah, well. That's what first drafts are for, I guess: putting in everything. They say kill your babies, but this'll be more like a genocide.
