I’m old enough to remember when @Heritage at least tried to make serious policy arguments, not this simplistic false choice garbage logic. No wonder their top Russia/Ukraine analysts all quit.

.@james_t_quinn with some more @Heritage tea ☕️ nationalreview.com/2023/08/herita… @NRO
@joshrogin @Heritage Well put Josh, glad this is slapped with a community note too.
@joshrogin @Heritage The argument seems very logical to me
@joshrogin @Heritage You must be old then because that stopped happening at least in 2014 when I started advising a Heritage backed HFC Member in Tim Huelskamp.
@joshrogin @Heritage Yeah, they're now team "blame America first."
@joshrogin @Heritage According to the @NRO article, this absolutely despicable article by @Heritage President @KevinRobertsTX was the last straw for retired General Thomas Spoehr, director of the Center for National Defense at Heritage. thehill.com/opinion/intern…
@joshrogin @Heritage Yup. I remember when they were policy wonks instead of hacks.
@joshrogin @Heritage I’m still rather blown away that even Heritage, of all places, no longer embraces conservatism, simply because Trump wills it. For a party that so loudly trumpeted God and country, we now find out they never believed in either. As a former R, that’s an outcome I never expected.
@joshrogin @Heritage At this point @Heritage agitprop is looking similar to the sort of drivel generated by the #CCP. It's embarrassing.
