@BillAckman The rot of weak education standards in grade school does not magically end upon HS graduation, but festers into college. Attempts to mitigate downstream are not working.

@Aristotle7777 @unusual_whales Yes 🎯. And they lied so effectively about 9-11 that they still got tons of men to fight for...what, exactly?

@elonmusk Because we need cheap labor. Multiculturalism and DEI are the mask that large businesses use to obtain cheaper labor and harm natural citizens. Feminism was the previous attempt, starting in the 60s, but that well has run dry.

@MarioNawfal You think they would have spotted a drone if the operator wished to remain unseen? Highly unlikely imo. Modern radar often doesn't catch ultralight aircraft unless it's squawking, much less a drone.

@stackhodler Your post hints at the changing order toward an oligopoly wherein government plays a diminuitive role and real power is leveraged by the likes of Google. Maybe we are already there.

Preston, you have been such a huge influence on my investing life. Thank you for your consistent work, positive attitude, logical approach, measured optimism, generosity, clear thinking, and friendly voice. I will certainly miss you, and I hope you appear as a guest from time to time to say hello. You had so many good interviews. That episode you did with Luke Gromen about 1.5 years ago stands out as one of your best in my memory. Your "passing the Rubicon" metaphor stuck with me. It must feel strange to have all these listeners you don't know who nevertheless care about you. I will pray that the Father will guide and shelter you and your family.

This idea will cause price inflation worse than COVID; here's why. When the majority of people in a populace are given a supply of new dollars to buy a limited quantity of goods, inflation follows. Think about it. What is the value of money you didn't work for? ZERO. If everyone has received the same amount of money, what makes that new money worth anything? Prices will rise to account for the "free" money. Do you think Elon is going to want to be paid in dollars that were created ex nihilo by the Fed? I don't think so. He's going to raise his prices to reflect the actual value of the payment he receives. Same goes for your grocer or the hardware store owner or the neighbor selling his house.

@Arkypatriot You need 100 policemen to take down some fat dude with a stick? Look at them hiding behind their car. Am I missing something, or is this incredibly embarrassing to the state of LE in CA?
