من أدب النفس أن يجعل للرقة موضعها وللغلظة موضعها، ولا خير في رقيق لا يغلظ ولا في غليظ لا يرق وشعر العرب وبناء قصائدهم ينبيك عن عنايتهم بذلك، فلا تتم القصيدة إلا وقد طرق فيها فنون القول وأراك اقتداره عليها جميعا، حتى لا يظن الظان أن رقة لفظه أو شدته محضَ طبعٍ غالبٍ مستحوذٍ عليه

It’s no longer “tell me what you read and I’ll tell you who you are” it’s more like: let me see how you read and I’ll know who you are. Two readers can walk away from the same text with entirely different interpretations, which says more about them than the text itself.
