The irreversible damage that these moments did to modern pop/geek culture continues
I'm not saying that I don't think some of these are great moments, but the problem is how people reacted TO these moments essentially forced a lot of mainstream blockbusters/shows to be nostalgia heavy and filled with "clap moments" rather than focusing on telling a story.
@jtimsuggs Seeing as it’s all fake and for entertainment, you should try to find joy in it rather than pick it apart and stew over things you don’t like. I say that as someone who decided to do that and is living in a much happier fandom. There’s so much joy to find in entertainment.
@jtimsuggs Counter point, what moments in the new star wars trilogy, that weren't based on nostalgia, got this kind of reaction?
@jtimsuggs you realize it’s fake and for entertainment. Find the joy in it instead of taking it so seriously.
@jtimsuggs Man, these some of the greatest moments. Sorry you feel that way.
@jtimsuggs Such a surreal moment to be watching the Mando S2 finale thinking "I don't want this" whilst the entire fanbase cheered and clapped and declared the episode a masterpiece
