@ghirapurigears @ToastyHere I swear I've heard gas station cash registers use the old ICQ alert sounds. It's incredibly jarring when I hear it.

@IwriteOK Even the venue was on purpose - another Night at the Garden documentary will be coming in a few years about this one too.

@ghirapurigears @OnionBugXD Oh, I've got a few Dan Hibiki decks. Honestly, my default seems to be Dan Hibiki decks, with a few Kyosuke's thrown in. In CVS 2 terms, I tend to show up with Level 1 Dan, Level 1 Blanka, Level 2 Guile decks. Guile is Arcades.

@ghirapurigears @existentialnick Feels like I could just plug in waymond_strategic_and_necessary.wav and feel good about that as a reply.

@SupergiantGames Yours is the only studio that I will buy a game based on the name of the studio alone. What fantastic storytelling, gameplay, and music! Thanks for over a decades worth of games.

@IfyNwadiwe 100% agree, but ... Richard Pryor did get a writing credit in 2022 for Paws of Fury, the Legend of Hank because it's a remake of Blazing Saddles.

@JimDavisMTG This was my kitchen table format when I started playing, but we couldn't afford a whole box at the time. What cool memories seeing all those cards on the battlefield!

@n3liason @bf_crane Another Unitarian win in this country's history. They just keep cropping up everywhere you look. A little rarer these days, but still here.

@Empty_jr I've been meaning to go back and check for this, I had my suspicions the day after watching it. The Wenis itself is worth no points, and what other clues were there to figure out the maze? That's 6 50/50 guesses without a clue! I think you're right.

@rad_thundercat @esjesjesj Gonna head down to the flag store and get a few fun trips paid for - Probably Japan first, then the UK, maybe back to Canada after that. Not sure why a flag has to get damaged in this scenario, but if that's the price of a round trip ticket across the world, so be it.

@VoicesByZane Discworld is a side project for me, in that I can only pick up copies in used book stores that I physically go to. It'd be easy to order them all online, but I wanted a little adventure. How do I make sure I don't buy duplicates? Spreadsheet!

@ClaireMax Definitely agree - I've heard this referred to as representation being important as both a mirror and a window.

@rad_thundercat @wfaa youtu.be/oAHbLRjF0vo?si… solves the problem mathematically, but it's hard to monetize, so we'll probably just keep doing what we're doing.

@elektrotal I really liked how excited the researcher was at getting a firsthand account from a more "regular person" source, talking about how much we can learn about a civilization when we're not hyper focused on the nobility. He even got excited about the "fashion" source!

@rad_thundercat Bottom right looks like a fully upgraded early 90s station wagon in a destruction derby game.

@TheRaDR Also interesting that they chose to put the timeline in the order they did - reading left to right without checking the dates makes it look like the approval started low with steady improvement instead of the actual pattern the chart shows. "Interesting."

@ChrisKMooney Unitarian Universalism says "sup," including the OWL curriculum providing age appropriate sex ed of all ages. But you're right, they don't care about loopholes.
